وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاء كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ  (And We have made from water every living thing.) Al-Anbiya, Verse 30

According to the above verse, Allah (swt) explains the value of water which is related to the life of His (swt) creatures, as well as according to a hadith of the Prophet (pbuh) water wastage is prohibited in ablution and even near the flowing river. It is therefore our responsibility to appreciate and protect this vital substance and to avoid extravagance.

Our beloved country Afghanistan, in addition to other mineral compounds, is also rich in water and has abundant pure water. As is clear to all, so far we have not been able to manage water properly, especially our country's surface water. But the water we use for drinking in cities often comes from groundwater, which over time and with long-term use reduces the levels of these resources and reservoirs.

Improper usage of water can lead to drying up of water reservoirs. Since the main task of the water supply corporation is to provide clean drinking water and sewage management; Therefore, we urge all our customers to cooperate with this corporation with strong trust and a sense of patriotism in making timely payments and preventing its wasteful consumption, so that all present and future generations enjoy clean drinking water, which is an inalienable right of everyone.
